ConocoPhillips Canada is more successful when the communities where we develop and operate are also successful. A successful community is a sustainable one that is self-determining and self-sufficient, where the majority of youth grow up to become productive adults, who are proud of their heritage, have a desire to stay in their community and the means of raising their families. Successful communities also require supportive and fully functional families and a large number of high school graduates who can obtain employment. This requires a vibrant business community, which can offer employment to the majority of residents.
